Best Manager Ever

Since I have been home, I play a lot of my PS2. Well, really I just enjoy playing Fifa 06 in Manager Mode.

For those of you who have never played this before, it is really simple, you are a new manager starting out, you get to choose a team to sign with, then you choose a sponsor for your team (to get bonus money etc you need to be able to fulfil specific requirements) and then off you go. You get the players on your team and then you can buy and sell as much as your budget will allow you (and as many bids as they let you have!).

You have to organise the formation of your team, your starting 11, the subs and the reserves. You have to make sure that you are keeping everyone as happy as you can because otherwise if someone is injured or suspended, then the player in for them ends playing crap and you lose. Also, the more a player plays, the more expereienced they become. Getting the players young and on long contracts also keeps your slary costs down because the more expereinced players (providing they are decent) have a higher salary and they cost more to buy.

You can check on a players stats, how well they are doing, how they fit into your team, their morale etc and then in this way you know whether you should be selling them or putting them on loan or promoting or dropping them in rank on your team. It can take some getting used to when you start with a new team because you do not know the players, but once you know them, then you can have a great time.

As a manager you are ranked on how many things you have accomplised. When you start out you always have to have a loser team because no big team will risk you and then the board of the club will usually just want you to be in the top half or sometimes just avoid relagation LOL. If you are choosing a team in the 2nd devision, then you also have the chance of promotion with your team. That can also be quite fun.

As a manager you have to build up the team chemistry, the more and better they play, the higher it goes. Then you have to keep the fans happy and make sure you keep your job secuirty high or you will lose your job.

At the end of every season you can choose to stay with your club or to move on. I personally do prefer to try and stay, but then if you can move to a bigger club or you just do not like the club you are at, then you can bugger off.

This time I began my journey in the Bundesliga with FC Köln for no reason other than the fact that I had been to the stadium LOL. They were an okay team rated with 3 stars (you can have up to 5 depending on the quality of your players). Now, one must also remember that my game begins in 2006, so most of the players we know now are little babies. I wonder what really FCK 3 star because quite honestly, the only player I found to be making the team do anything at all is Lukas Podolski. We finished with an okay top half position and at the end of the season I left the club.

I so wanted to manage Stuttgart, only because it feels a bit stupid playing with my vfb controller and having another team, but sadly with little expereince, it was back to the same old clubs to choose from. I ended up at Hannover 96 for no real reason, I just went there. They were rated 3 star and so I went to try my luck.

Well, what a different team, full of a lot more potential than my last team. I have managed to be able to get a solid foundation going for the teamm and their greatness and build upon that. I have been there now for just a little over 3 seasons and while the team differs greatly from the original one I began with, there are still some of the original players as well as some fantastic new signings!

My constant and consistent back pairing for the past seasons (and continuing on now) of Vinícius and Mertesacker have been a solid rock. I have played around a lot with my midfield and finally settled on a 4-1-2-1-2 formation which means I have a CDM and a CAM. I came to settle on this after I went and poached Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich. They were not using him, so I took him and got a good bargain. I bet they are sorry now because I turned him into a great player. Mind you, he will score some goals and then the next thing you know the bloke is getting a red card. He is my captain now.

Not everything has been a success with players though. One time I got Gomez on loan from Stuttgart and he was so crap I gave up on him! Then again, later they had him up for loan again and I managed to convince them to sell him to me and I have not looked back, I made him great, but it was a bumpy start (he even came to me with no morale at all). And then there is Poldi, that ungrateful little shit. He was up for sale, my team was going well, we had won the Pokal and came 2nd and then 1st in the league and were playing in the CL and doing great, I bid for him and he told me my team was not good enough for him! HA! Then you know where he goes? Middlesbrough. WTF?! Honestly. They don't even play CL football and I know for sure they do not go winning the league. Oh god, some players are so weird. Well, anyway, he can go to hell I got Gomez and made him Mr Goalmachine and we win everything.

I have now won with 96 every trophy we can in our competition. I think there is 5 or so, but whatever, we have won it. We are the best and I am working on getting that last half a start to make us 5 stars. Actually, we are so close to it, but I just need a little bit more money to get the better staff in and we will get to 5. Then we really will be unstoppable.

Look out for me in the future. I am the best football manager there is ;-)

After a week or so

Well, now I spend a whole week alone at home and I felt weird some times. I was just not used to be alone anymore. 6 weeks is a very long time and you just get used to each other. You know there is someone there and you just can turn around and chat.

Now that Jess is save back in Sydney and trying to get her life back and running, I am trying to get my life back. I admit I slept in long, I watched silly German TV, I did some vector work, some new wallpapers and I took way too many photos LOL.

I just enjoy trying my new camera out. I still have so much to learn, but I am willing to have a long breath at least once.
I only met some friends, went to Kieser and washed clothes. Other than that I tried to stay for myself.

And Pacifer, you will not believe it, but the Lesbian is really moving out. I saw it. Everything is empty. I am scared that the weirdo people move it. Those that harassed you LOOOL
Can you imagine coming over and not having the lesbos next to us? That will be weird. No blue lady to feel you up anymore. :( Saaad. :(

So maybe the people moving in are true Weirdos! :O Then what will I do? What if they are not even friendly? The Lesbos have been fun at least. Btw, I wanted to have that appartment LOOOOL Damn it, too late!

Anyway. What else happened? Too much crap and some sunny days. I will make sure to upload the photos on here and yours for your family to show around!

I miss you!

Songs over songs over songs...

All for you! Well, all for Jasons River

And there is more...

Enough? Not quite...

And who would forget this....

Isn´t that like awesome?

The SingStar moment

Yes, yes, time is coming to an end once more. 6 weeks went by so fast, you do not even know when it happened. And again we have countless memories to put together on a list, knowing we shared fantastic moments and our friendship just got deeper once more.

Yet here we are, after a last meeting with the Monkeys for this year. And what did we do? We sang SingStar. We, that would be Sabine, Leoni and myself. Jess decided to just listen and let her ears bleed LOOOL.
But while Pacifer just sat there and did nothing, Dawsophine had a very important moment. I was not only singing thru songs of the 80s and 90s *at this point I have to add, that I actually did beat Sabine at ONE song and that was "Relight my fire"... YAY* and then there it was.

"Daydream Believer". The karaoke memory of Joey and Dawson, combined into one person. MYSELF!
Of course I did fuck it up, but all in all it was all about the memory of those two childhood friends singing this song since they have been 8. We cracked up in laughing and it was so insane that it had THIS song on the DVD after we spend this summer together more or less living in Capeside. It was just so wonderful. And I really enjoyed it.

*rises my glass once more* To all the rivers and creeks that might flow between us, but will never seperate us... ever!

Cheers!

Jasons River

Its another night full of teenage drame in a small town. And while Twister is dropping in and out of sleep I keep watching one of my most fave TV shows of all time.
In 2006 we had the footy.
In 2007 it was Prison Break and me singing for Jess every night LOL
In 2008 we have Jasons River.

Its absurd how we manage to watch all of the 6th seasons including the grand finale in 6 weeks. But we did. Tbh we made one season more or less one day. But anyway, I just wanted to pay tribute to a show that is not only fantastic but also was the pure inspiration for the new creation of "Jasons River" aswell as the characters of Pacifer and Dawsophine. Both or well, all 4 are really some deeply inspiring persons.

NO BOOBIE TOUCHING!

This summer has been very much a joy, aside the sick time that the Twisters suffered. And a huge credit should go to Jasons River and Joeys Sex pattern. That made us laugh out loud, sit and discuss, think about past years and get teary eyes when it was deep as the Creek.

I can´t stand Andie from the middle of season 2 thru all season 3. I can´t believe I hailed Joey being the bitch she is. I can´t believe I hated Jen *did I call her fat cow???*, I can´t believe I wanted Daweson more than Pacey *hormones, I swear!!!* and I can´t believe I am still so much in love with a teenage show that is just a show about too much talk by too much retarded eyes. Who would dump Eddie for Charlie... or the other way around... just to dump Pacey for Eddie and be left by Eddie just to end with Pacey again. After sleeping with Daweson. I bet you can tell, it has ups and downs. Yet it is what made us enjoy some true and honest Twister time.

My toast goes to every single boat on the river!

Song About A Shearer

*giggles* Twiiiiiiisssssssssssssster, I got you a present!!!

Out on the board the old shearer stands,
Graspin' his shears in his thin bony hands,
His bleary eyes are fixed on a blue-bellied ewe,
Sayin', “If I get you, gal, I'll make the ringer go.”

Chorus (after each verse):
Click go the shears, boys, click, click, click.
Wild is his blow and his hands are movin' quick
,And the ringer looks around and he's beaten by a blow
And he curses that old snagger with the blue-bellied ewe.

In the middle of the floor in his cane-bellied chair
Sits the boss of the board with his eyes everywhere.
He notes every fleece as it comes to the screen,
Paying close attention that it's took off clean.

The colonial-experience man, he is there, of course,
With his shiny leggins, just off his horse;
Castin' round his eyes like a real connossoor,
Brilliantine and scented soap and smelling like a whoor (Who said that?)

The tar-boy is there and waiting on demand
With his old tar-pot and in his tarry hand.
Sees an old ewe with a cut upon her back,
This is what he's waitin' for: “Tar here, Jack!”

First you take the belly-wool and niggle out the crutch,
Go up the neck, for the rules they are such,
Clean around the horns and the first shoulder down,
A long blow up the back and turn her around.

Chorus:
Click, click, click, that's how the shearin' goes.
Click, clicketty click, oh my boys it isn't slow.
A fellow pulls out a sheep and it lands him a kick,
And still you hear the shears a-goin': Click, click, click.

Now the shearin's over and we've all got our cheque,
Roll up your swags and we're off along the track.
The first pub we'll come to it's there we'll have a spree
And to everyone that comes along it's: “Have a drink on me!”

Down by the bar the late shearer stands,
Graspin' his glass in his thin bony hands,
His eyes are on the barrel which now is lowerin' fast,
He works hard, he drinks hard, and goes to hell at last!

In case you need it, this came with the lyrics on the website ...

More Buddy Bears...

Today Jess and myself went to the city, getting some stuff we needed. Well, actually more like stuff we wanted. Useless stuff, but still good stuff. Aaaanyway. We went to visit the bears together. Remember? Jess saw them before and now here they are. All of them. We went around to find the special ones for you people.

Jess and the Aussie bear. ^^

Me hugging the Romanian bear!

Jess between England and Amerika.

Me hugging England.

Some special bear, apparently its one of the original bears. This one was just cool and had Albert Einstein on it. How cool is that?

Do you love the bears just like we did? I fell in love with the Romanian bear, btw. This summer I felt more Romanian than the summers before. Anyway, hope you enjoyed them!

More light graffitti as promised...

Jess and myself went out today and before we woke a cute family with our lights and laughter... this is what came out!
Enjoy!

Twisters are doing ot for themselves....

I do remember the glory days when I asked my bf and a good friend of mine to help me fix my hot water. Both of them, being men, tried it in their own style. Being veeery mainly and all ROAR! But still sadly I don´t have warm water in my kitchen.
So yesterday Jess and myself, we tried to take some light graffitti photos with my brand new camera. It took us quite some time to figure out how to do it the best. Well, actually it was more my stupidity that made us take so long LOL. So I am really sorry. :P

After we did the first attempt and you could at least guess it might be working sooner or later, we walked back home and I was trying to insert the memory card into the memory card slot in my PC. Mind you, it has like 4 slots for all sorts of cards. I found the right one, pushed it in and somehow my PC turned into a card eating monster. It might sound all a bit weird and it is, but you have no idea how deep it swallowed my card. It was moving further than my fingers could even get to it. Its just really weird. I can´t explain it, it just flipped over the stuff that is there and just ended somewhere in the inside of my PC. Gone. But not forgotten.

It still had all our photos on there. And we were not giving up.

It would be so embarassing to call my Dad and explain how my PC just swallowed the card. So it was about time to solve this problem ourselves! And yes, we did! we just showed that girls are actually able to do some technix stuff all on our own!
All we needed was a flashlight and two knives. Just like Michael and Sucre LOOOL!
We flipped the PC upside down, took it off the energy and we somehow got it out with the help of the knives. HOORAY!
It might sound absurd. But yes, we did it. Just two girls, two knives and lots of ideas... and now we are off to fix the hot water!!!

And this is what we came up with last night. Better stuff to come! Promised!

Tolerance Bears Part 2

The rest of the bears!!!

Funny thing is, I wondered where I had seen these bears before. I was thinking that I must have seen them in Germany one time I was over or something. Then I saw the signs about the bears and where they had been in the world and then I remembered. I found them in Sydney! Yep. I had. And even I still know where to buy the little bear souveneirs from =P
Hope you enjoyed the bears!

Tolerance Bears Part 1

Today began like any other day, I woke up. I meant to wake up earlier, but I was tired, so I turned my alarm off and went back to sleep. I slept for another couple of hours before getting up. And as I looked out the window, the weather made me wonder if I should bother to get out of bed at all.

I had a shower, got dressed, talked to my mum and then my sexy boyfriend mailed me. As I was mailing him I saw some sun and took my chance to get out of the place. I went into the city with no plan other than to just get out.

I talked with Daniel as I walked along soaking up some sunshine. I passed the Tolerance Bears that they had put up over the weekend. I told him about the bears and he did not know what they were, so I wandered over to take a closer look at them. And while I was there, I made some photos so that I may share them with you.

I also hope that by the end of the posts that you will have a tolerance of bears LOL ... well, actually, you are supposed to have a tolerance of cultures different to your own as the bears are from all countries around the world.

Missing

For anyone who is missing someone, then maybe you like this song. I like it, but it makes me cry. Sadly I could not find a decent enough video or so to put here, so the words will have to do.

4 Twister

I have been sat here for hours looking for anything I thought would make you smile. After much looking around for something so perfect, I have decided to photo spam you!

I hope that you enjoy it and I also do hope that it will make you smile (I would even take just a little one, but a bigger one would be nice!)

Get well soon!
