Summer (without) Wine

Hello from sunny Germany, finally! It looks like summer arrived. No joke, after we had like rain and wind for most of June and July, today the the weather was hot, sunny and just perfect for a nice day in the park.
So Jess and myself packed in a huge blanket (it wasn´t that huge...) some cool drinks, music and ourselves. The destination of the day trip was "Killesberg" in Stuttgart. A very nice park, where you can hang around the whole day, just enjoying life and the fact that summer seems to take a look on us - finally. It would have been a shame if Jess would not have been able to wear her shorts while she is in Germany. Btw, first day I wore my shorts in this summer aswell. So, I would say, forget the french revolution and the storming of the Bastille. Today marks the arrival of the "summer shorts" HOORAY!

Anyway, we went to the park and we just found the best place to lay down *pretty much the first place we could find in the shades* and then we just had some nice time. I put on my new phone as a radio and then from Justin to John Mayer to Michael Jackson and then we watched some people getting on the little funny train, going thru the park, having a nice day.
Sadly my phone can do way too much crap with pictures and we spend ages taking weird pics of ourselfs as Ronaldo Cristianos triplet sisters and as monkeys on the moon.

But such a park does deserve some walking, right? Plus I needed to see the toilet anyway. First we got a bit lost, cause we did not really know where we were walking towards. But then Jess could remember what way we should go. There still was a tower to watch, flowers to admire and an icecream to eat.
I have to say that as brave as I wanted to be, that tower was not my best idea. I only made it to the first stage. Three more to go and I chickend out. First stage was enough for me to see. I know its silly, but height is not so much what I need when it is getting really hot LOL.

But the icecream called "Kaktus" was very re-freshing... I won´t tell you guys what it looks like... but it was good and it helped us getting back to the little train station, where we could have some nice relaxing time, getting thru the park again without using our feet. I personally, really liked that. Just sitting there relaxed, getting our fancy white shirt dirty from the steam and just enjoying the view, while I got a liiiittle bit happy snappy with my new photo handy.
Its a bit silly, but since I live here in Stuttgart, I never went to tht park. And I need an australian tourist to take me there. (Thats a lie, because I did work there twice, but still...) And for that I wanted to say THANK YOU! It was a very nice day, even we wanted to fll asleep on the way back home and then, when we arrived at our place, we got scared by the blue devil woman! And right now the party is going on really good and we re still sipping our Barcard Breezers. Hell, I wonder where this is gonna end tonight... Vive la revolution...
