Planes Are Evil

Honestly, I am telling you, that my trip over here was so insane. I am not so sure that I would even know how to begin to describe it.

The first thing that happened was we boarded the plane late, so I was stuck trying hard not to cry for my mum in that waitin area. At least there was some shops there and I could get a water and have a walk around. The only problem was, was that I had those travel sickness pills and so I ended up sitting there upset and trying not to fall asleep.

Then we got onto the plane - hooray. But then the next thing we are just sitting there. The towbar on that silly truck that taxis the plane down the runway had broken off and we had to wait for a new one. We waited. Then during that time, pretty much when they had fixed the towbar, someone on the plane got sick. They wanted to get off, but that meant they had to find their bags under the plane. It also meant a security check of every piece of luggage on the plane to make sure it was all accounted for and not a bomb to blow us up.

I watched most of Walk The Line before we even took off.

Time was made up for on the plane and we would be landing in Bangkok just a little bit later, but not too much. The only thing was is that it was pouring with rain. The plane went down to land and then suddenly veered upwards. I was freaking out thinking I was going to end on a LOST island. I didn't. We landed at Bangkok domestic airport.

We got stuck there at the airport for 5 hours. Well, I say airport, but what I really mean is that I got stuck inside the plane in my seat for 5 hours. They would not let us off, but then the airport was closed and they spent their time trying to get people to come and refuel the plane and get the new cabin crew for the plane over from the international terminal. It was some huge problem because staff cannot legally work more than a certain number of hours and both the crew we had and the new crew would be running on tight time. They thought we would be stuck in Bangkok overnight. Then again, we pretty much were in a way.

I watched Walk The Line again. I watched Westlife 'The Rose' and JT 'My Love' so many times I really do not need to be seeing them again any time soon, let me put it to you that way. I watched The Little Mermaid in German, decided that was just not happening for me and started to watch it again in English before realising I did not want to watch that movie really. Put on Toy Story and fell asleep.

They flew us over to the international terminal and then let us off, saying it was not worth getting off, but we could go for 15 minutes and no more. I went to get back on the plane and waited over 30 minutes to get back on the damn thing.

We took off and got to Dubai, but we were so late there that I had missed my connecting plane. People were saying that if we could not get another one, then we would be stuck in Dubai overnight. Hooray. By this time I just wanted to turn around and go home.

I gott off at Dubai and OMG it was so hot there. Hot and so humid. Althought tbh, I was thinking I could go swimming if they had me stuck there overnight LOL.

I got off and had t get a bus to the terminal as they are doing it up all nice there. I was lucky, they knew our plane was fucked over and they had put us all on new flights and so I just picked up my new ticket and then waited for my new flight.

I could not call anyone and eveytime I tried on my mobile, someone kept speaking to me in arabic and it was just not cool. I got a phone card. I wasted $10 on that damn thing and could not get it to work. Oh well. I will try it on the way home and see what I can do with it. Let's face it, who else is going to be able to use it if I cannot???

I did some shopping there. We have a pretty good exchange rate so things are cheap. I cannot wait to go back there and buy lots more crap that I do not need! I got my 3 little friends Akaru, Mohammad and Omar ... Adriana knows them.

It was time for my flight, but what do you know, the plane was delayed by an hour. I was about ready to go and die somewhere. Luckily the plane was not so full and I had a seat next to be spare. Thank goodness because I could use that tv - my tv was broken. Then also I broke that other tv, it froze on me, so I had no tv for about half of my trip. It was a good excuse to sleep.

Finally, after all of that I got to Frankfurt.
