Jetski on the lake, test in the class...

on the weekend during my fancy time in denver, we decided to go to a lake near denver called "cherry creek lake" which is pretty nice and lots of people go there to have some fun. we got offered to go to the lake or visit the stadium and all. of course we took the lake when they mentioned "jet ski" HOORAY! i never really did it before, but we tried it some time ago in barcelona.

anyway.

lake it was for brian, denise, jeff, colleen, mark, ping and me. the others went for the shopping, the stadium and some... culture. us, we wanted to get wet and tanned.
i have to say the lake is some beauty and as jess knows, i got a little dreamy arty mooded and took some nice pics. maybe i will post them here.

i like jetskiing because you can do some mad things and it ends funny or in the water. we had two jetskis and lots of fun. the girls were scared and did not want to go on them alone - neither wanted brian by the way, little wuss that he is! LOL but anyway, we played some football, i taught the yanks what "offsides" mean and trust me, that was not easy. most of them know the name beckham, but have never heard of raul. i soooo changed that! now they all know the history of real madrid and all the details about raul, they never wanted or needed to know!

we should have studied a bit, since we had that first test today in class and even some of us really brought their nods to the lake, none of us put the nose in the books. so i guess some of us might have fucked up the test, judging from their faces yesterday after class. i think i might have done pretty good. i hated the way they made me sit in the very front, but they did the same with brian. smart kids, i guess LOL
i hope the others did not as bad as they think, that would be a shame.
on the way back we stopped at denverss original seakhouse restaurant that only serves meat LOL poor girls that don´t eat meat! LOL some veeery nice steak we got there. yummy. like no joke. really yummy. and the bar is really nice aswell. but then again, you´ll see on the pics!

what else? yeah, on monday we had the test and it took ages. we had to read an article and then answer questions. like please, how hard can that be?

well, if there should be any news, be sure i will let you people know. if anyone of you is thinking about coming to denver for some kind of holiday, i can only recomend it. its a really nice place to be.
