Prequel of the summer 2007 - World Cup Memories

World Cup 2006.

Memories. Good memories. Who will forget what a wonderful party it was? At least for us people living in Stuttgart! Voted Fan City of the World Cup. What can be better? A party, the whole summer.

If I check my memories of that summer, I find millions. Really good times. Not only did I see 5 games in the stadium, no, I also saw Figos last game for Portugal. My dream of seeing him play becamse reality.

But also I will always remember how it was to meet my twin sister from Australia! A girl I met on a football forum and I started chatting with, since we both love football, music and movies. We just realised that we became close friends. And when she told me, that she will come over for the World Cup, we had the plan to meet, take a photo and have a drink. How cool would that be?

I had no idea that on the way to the summer 2006, she would fall in love with one of my mates, that we would grow closer because of the words "tumor" and "coma". All in all, I had no idea of anything.

Australia - Croatia should be the game we would watch at the stadium together! But really, we spend 3 weeks together.
You do not meet people on the web and then suddenly become friends. This was different. We have so much in common, its really funny.

When she left last year, I ended crying! But since then I got a fancy new programm for my phone, so I have cheap 50 minutes to talk to Australia each month. Its just cool and we keep in touch! Not only because of her boyfriend, my mate, that she loves for more than one year by now. But also because we have become really close friends.

But like each really good story, it did not end with her leaving back to Sydney from Stuttgart after the summer. That was the end of Episode I ... now its 2007 and Episode II is just about to start!
